Sandra Navarrete obtained her BA degree in Spanish Language, Hispanic Literature and Culture from SUNY (State University of New York) College at Old Westbury. Sandra has always looked forward to working with children on immersive language instruction. One of her memorable teaching experiences involved a trip to her native country of El Salvador, where she volunteered her time as a substitute English teacher at an elementary/middle school. Prior to teaching at The Renaissance School, Sandra was a Spanish teacher for a non-profit and she is excited to have joined the Renaissance School team in November 2015.

Adriana Zavala has been working at TRIS since 2013. She migrated from Michoacán, Mexico to the United States at a very young age with both her parents. She came to TRIS with a background in Child Development. She has been working with children since 2010. She is a proud mom of two children. She loves to bake and learn about photography, and she enjoys  working with younger kids and admires their innocence and fun personalities.
